My name is Allen Springer, a
second generation gunsmith, and I live in the foothills of the Big Snowy
Mountains, at Moore, Montana. Firearm restoration is my first love and over
the years I have been striving to duplicate original finishes on both wood
and metal. I guess it goes without saying that I must have succeeded because
of the amount of this type of work that I do. Firearm restorations are some
of the most challenging projects that a person will ever undertake, and I
take rust pits and scratches very personally. All polishing is done by hand
and all edges are left sharp and screw holes true to form. I consider myself
a working man's gunsmith and my very competitive prices will reflect as
